Description
Amaltea is a wine that comes from the vinification of 100% Trebbiano Ugni Blanc grapes that grow on soils of volcanic origin at about 200 meters above sea level. This product has a straw yellow color and, by swirling it in a glass, you can immediately notice a certain fatness, with frequent "arches" and slowly falling "tears". It is a wine that has an interesting bouquet, with herbaceous and floral hints that also recur during drinking. On the palate it is charismatic, woody and structured, with an acidic streak that leaves the mouth clean, ready to welcome another sip.
AT THE TABLE
The significant alcohol content of 13.5% allows Amaltea to accompany fish-based meals from A to Z, with a positive inflection on the combination with grilled seafood dishes. Its freshness also allows it to pair pleasantly with some mixed vegetable soups and platters of medium-aged cheeses. An experiment we recommend is pairing it with a plate of bresaola and rocket with drops of lemon and flakes of parmesan.
