Description

Trebbiano di Soave 'Massifitti' by Suavia is a white wine with a unique character, the result of long research on the historic, almost forgotten variety.

The name Massifitti describes the composition of the volcanic soil of this area which is particularly rich in large compact basalt rocks.

The vineyard extends over an area of approximately 2 hectares facing south at an altitude of 300 m. and produces a wine with a clear expression, a bright straw yellow color and a nose that opens on notes of citrus and sweet spices that extend onto mineral tones and marine perceptions .

On the palate it is clear and vertical, with a lively acidity combined with an elegant and creamy structure. The finish is long and tasty. Massifitti pairs perfectly with appetizers, first courses based on vegetables and fish, oysters and raw seafood.

A white wine with an intense flavor and a unique personality, ideal to accompany your special evenings.

VINEYARD
It covers an area of about 2 hectares facing south at an altitude of 300 meters.
The name Massifitti describes the composition of the volcanic soil of this area which is particularly rich in large compact basaltic rocks.
The vineyard was planted in 2006 using clones of old Trebbiano di Soave vines which were selected in collaboration with the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Milan and Professor Attilio Scienza as part of our recovery project of this ancient variety.
Over the years we have increased the company area dedicated to Trebbiano di Soave by creating new vineyards in different parts of the hill for a total area of about 6 hectares.
