Craving freshness? Let yourself be inspired by the pairings we suggest for the bubbles…
Frizzi Pop from Tenuta l’Armonia, light (11.5%) and fruity, it is a sparkling white wine, refermented in the bottle with the ancestral method, not disgorged and still on the lees. An explosive blend of red and white grapes, vinified “occhio di pernice”.
A lively and cleansing bubble, recommended for aperitifs in general, it pairs perfectly with light fried fish or vegetables, gourmet pizza, and stuffed focaccias.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG from Riva dei Frati, in its Brut, Extra Brut, or Extra Dry versions, it is among the excellences of Italian sparkling wines.
Elegant and lively, soft and aromatic, with citrus notes, we recommend it to accompany fish and vegetable appetizers, even elaborate ones; first courses with seafood (e.g., spaghetti alle vongole); baked fish such as sea bass or gilthead bream.
Also excellent for a full meal, served at 7–9°C, ideal for aperitifs and finger food.
Bianco Pop from Tenuta l’Armonia, fresh, agile, and savory (12%), it is a wine made from local white grapes, from volcanic soil with basalt, with a portion macerated. Aged in cement tanks with batonnage and rested for at least one year in the bottle, unfiltered, it presents fruity and floral notes.
On the palate it is fresh and light (12%), perfect with seafood pairings – raw seafood and fish carpaccios; with summer salads with fruit and fresh cheeses; and with fish or vegetable risottos.
Three Reds for summer: Character, Territory, and Perfect Pairings
Summer is not only synonymous with whites and rosés: light and territorial reds can also offer surprising emotions. Here are three labels that tell different stories, but all deeply connected to the land they come from:
Malandrino – Casa dei Cini (Umbria) is a young and fresh organic red, designed for everyday and convivial drinking. A blend of Ciliegiolo, Aleatico, Foglia Tonda, and Malvasia Bianca, vinified with short maceration in steel, bright ruby color.
The aromas of fresh red fruit and wildflowers, the agile sip, slightly aromatic and refreshing make it ideal to accompany rustic snacks and appetizers with cold cuts and fresh cheeses, pasta with tomato or amatriciana sauce, vegetable omelets, and vegetarian dishes.
Salina Rosso from Cantine Colosi has all the taste of the islands of Sicily: a volcanic and Mediterranean red, from Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese** grapes, grown on the island of Salina. Intense and harmonious, with aromas of Mediterranean scrub, sour cherry and wild blackberry, and notes of ripe cherry, vanilla, and black pepper.
The recommended pairings for this wine with a warm, savory, and persistent taste (to be served at 16–18°C to enhance its structure):
- Typical Aeolian and Sicilian dishes
- Red meats, game, and elaborate sauces
- Aged and smoked cheeses
Montefalco Rosso – Clivo del Cardinale (Umbria) is an elegant and structured DOC red, from Sangiovese, Sagrantino and other native grapes. Aged in steel and bottle, it expresses the character of the territory with wild berries and violet and light spices and an intense ruby color.
Its fine tannins and persistent finish make it ideal for flavorful first courses (lasagna, pappardelle with ragù…), grilled meats and roasts, aged cheeses and cold cuts. Also excellent with light game dishes!
Rosés, what a passion!!!
Summer 2025 sees rosés as the absolute protagonists! We at ArsWine.it offer you two that combine freshness and liveliness with the story of highly suitable territories (Umbria and Sicily), carried forward by passionate producers:
Ciliegiolo Rosato by Leonardo Bussoletti is an organic rosé obtained from Ciliegiolo grapes vinified in white, coming from hillside vineyards in the heart of Umbria. Aged in steel on fine lees, also in the cherry-pink color with orange reflections it expresses delicacy and minerality.
Its scents of pink grapefruit, wildflowers and a light spiciness best accompany
- Summer aperitifs and fish appetizers
- Grilled white meats or in salad
- Light baked pasta or with vegetables
- Fresh and medium-aged cheeses
Nerello Mascalese ‘Rosa di Adele’ from Feudo Montoni in Sicily is an organic rosé from 40-year-old vines grown at 600 meters above sea level in the cru “Rosa di Adele”, dedicated to the producer's mother. Vinified and aged in cement, it combines floral elegance and volcanic minerality.
On the palate it is fresh, persistent, savory and slightly astringent, with scents of rose, violet, pomegranate, wild strawberries and salty notes.
Recommended pairings:**
- Seafood appetizers and raw fish
- First courses with shellfish or aromatic vegetables
- White meats and soft cheese
Also great with spicy and fusion dishes!
Rosés, reds, fresh white wines – dry or sparkling – and the classic bubbles: enjoy the summer!
