Description

The Marina Cvetic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva is the flagship of Masciarelli, a wine that has conquered the palates of enthusiasts in 55 countries. Its production begins with a fermentation in stainless steel tanks that lasts 10-15 days, followed by a maceration of 20-30 days. Subsequently, the wine rests in 1st and 2nd passage French oak barriques for a period ranging from 12 to 18 months, with at least 6 months of refinement in the bottle.

This mono-varietal wine embodies Masciarelli's production philosophy, combining tradition and innovation. Its aromatic complexity is expressed in notes of mint, fresh thyme, undergrowth, red fruits, olive tapenade, grilled aromatic herbs, anise and dark chocolate. Deep, harmonious and with a rare cleanliness, this full-bodied wine is destined to improve as the years pass, always offering new emotions. It is not surprising that it was included in the prestigious "Top 100 Wines" list of the American magazine Wine Spectator. Abruzzo

Masciarelli

The now famous Marina Cvetic line takes us to the heart of Masciarelli's history: from the private and professional bond between Gianni and Marina, the line of products that bears his name was born in 1991. The 6 references, 4 of which from pure international vines, offer an unexpected view of the Abruzzo wine scene, revealing the extraordinary wine-growing vocation of Abruzzo and the great potential of its numerous "terroirs". Structured and elegant, Marina Cvetic wines are a voice out of the chorus for the most demanding and savvy palates.
