Description
Petite Arvine is a traditional late-ripening grape variety. Its name derives from the variety – Arvine – and the small size (petite in French) of its grapes. This wine is characterized by an intense minerality and salinity typical of mountain wines.
Grape variety: white, Petite Arvine 100% traditional variety
Annual production: 25,000 bottles.
Winemaking:refrigeration and soft whole bunch pressing of the grapes, 12-day fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 14°C. Aging “sur lies” for 2 months.
Sensory notes: bright, straw yellow. Floral nose (jasmine, peony), with notes of apple, plum and citrus fruits. Savory, balanced taste, with mineral nuances.
Serving temperature:8/10 °C.
Recommended pairings: marinated tuna carpaccio, linguine with pesto, salted sea bream, salmon trout with herbs, also suitable as an aperitif.
