KERNER Valle Isarco DOC 2020

Since 2003, the young winemaker Hannes Baumgartner has been producing and storing his wines himself in the cellar at the Strasserhof. The "workhorses" of their production are the white wines of the Isarco Valley, including Müller Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, Sylvaner, Kerner, Riesling, Sauvignon and Gewürztraminer, as well as the red wine Zweigelt. Furthermore, their novelty is the white Cuvée "AnJo".

Their vineyards spread over 5.5 hectares at an average altitude of 680-750 meters and offer ideal conditions for the production of high quality wines with a distinctive flavour. Thanks to the sunny south-west facing location and the slightly sandy and gravelly soil composition, their white wines have a sophisticated freshness with fruity notes.

Their estate is located above the Novacella Abbey in South Tyrol and is one of the northernmost wineries in Italy.
