Magenta on the Skins – Soave DOC by Nous Vini di Luce represents the most intense, tactile, and authentic expression of the grape variety that made Veneto famous worldwide. Not just a simple Soave, but a skin-macerated white wine capable of revealing depth, structure, and a unique aromatic character, thanks to the contact with the skins lasting about 48 hours. A wine that combines ancient technique and modern interpretation, enhancing the purest soul of Garganega grown on the volcanic soils of Castelcerino di Soave, at 350 m altitude.

The vines root themselves in soil rich in clay and basaltic minerals: an extraordinary terroir that gives the wine a vibrant savory energy and unmistakable minerality. Here, the grapes are harvested in mid-October, when nighttime temperatures drop, allowing a delicate and controlled natural maceration.

🍷 A different Soave, richer, deeper, more exciting

The uniqueness of Magenta on the Skins comes from the winemaking process: after destemming and crushing, the free-run juice destined for Soave Magenta is separated, while the richer part remains in the press for about 24 hours at low temperature. This skin/juice contact, favorable to the skins, allows the extraction of intense aromas, subtle aromatic notes, and a surprisingly complex structure for a white wine.

After pressing, the must settles without enzymes, ferments slowly in cement tanks for about twenty days, and remains on the lees for about six months, without fining or forced stabilization. A light filtration precedes bottling, but the wine may contain natural residues of potassium tartrate, a sign of its integrity and genuineness.
