Description
Sauvignon Isaì by Federici is a fresh and lively white wine, obtained 100% from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Pontine plain at an altitude of 50 meters above sea level. The vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean climate with mild winters, moderate rainfall and hot, breezy summers. The sandy soil gives the wine a particular lightness and freshness.
The grapes are vinified off-white with a light maceration of the skins, followed by soft pressing and a long fermentation at a controlled temperature of 12-14°C. After aging for 4 months in steel, the wine has a yellow color with slight greenish reflections.
On the nose, the characteristic varietal notes of tomato leaf, green fig and peach emerge. In the mouth, the wine stands out for a balanced taste, with a predominance of varietal notes perceived on the nose and a light and pleasant bitterish hint, with good persistence.
Sauvignon Isaì is the ideal companion for starters based on fish, molluscs and crustaceans. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 8°C and 10°C, preferably in a balloon glass to best enhance its complex aromas.
