Description
Our Merlot from the Ars Magna Line is represented by "Sapientia", inspired by the medieval metaphorical work "Ars Magna" by Raimondo Llull. This wine is didactic in its pure and immediate interpretation thanks to its unmistakable structure and rich range of nuances. Obtained exclusively from the careful selection of the best clone for each vintage, Merlot Ars Magna offers an intense sensorial experience, the result of knowledge and doing. Harvested in the second and third week of September and vinified in stainless steel wooden vats, it is aged in French oak barriques for approximately 24 months and subsequently in stainless steel for 6 months. Finally, it matures in the bottle for approximately 12 months, to reach its maximum expression.
The profile of the sommelier reveals an impenetrable ruby red color, with an intense, seductive and very broad aroma, which evokes small berries, exotic spices, pipe tobacco, cedar wood, potpourri, with darker notes of undergrowth and rust. In the mouth, it is elegant and full-bodied, with a tannic texture perfectly balanced by a soft glycerine structure and a wonderfully crafted wild flavor that persists for a long time. This wine is made 100% with Merlot grapes, and the unique and unrepeatable combination of season, clone, soil type and cultivation and winemaking technique make it an unmissable option for lovers of high quality Merlot.
