Description

The red wine Amarone Classico Della Valpolicella Riserva has a full and full-bodied profile with hints of ripe fruit such as black cherry and cherry, with a finish of bitter chocolate.

The grapes used are dried at a controlled temperature for 3 months, reducing their weight by 40%. Subsequently, a soft pressing is carried out followed by a slow fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is then refined, with 2/3 of the product aged in large oak barrels for approximately 2 years and the remaining third aged for 18 months in barrique.

After a final refinement period in the bottle for at least 6 months, the wine is ready to be sold. The grapes come from terraced vineyards facing south in the Valpolicella Classica area north of the city of Verona.

The harvest is rigorously carried out by hand in small boxes to avoid damaging the grapes, in late October.
