Librandi

Eastern Calabria was the site of a thriving civilization, originating from Greek colonization.

It was Enòtro, prince of Arcadia, after landing on our shores at the beginning of the eighth century, who very wisely ruled the fate of the first of all the Greek colonies that settled on the Ionian shores. The work of Enòtro and his people, largely made up of expert winemakers, was so appreciated that the Greeks identified these areas with the name of "Enotria Tellus", or "Land of Wine".
