Description

The rosé produced by the Lunae company is obtained through the pure vinification of the native Vermentino nero vine, which has been the subject of years of research to discover its characteristics and identity. Thanks to the great elegance, freshness, fruitiness and delicate tannin of the black Vermentino, rosé vinification was considered potentially successful, and the result is a high quality rosé. The pomegranate pink color of the wine is obtained thanks to the careful vinification of the grapes at a controlled temperature and a not excessive stay on the skins, with intense and elegant aromas.

The rosé has a bright cherry pink color and offers the nose notes of berries, strawberry and pomegranate with hints of hibiscus flowers and light mentholated notes. On the palate, the fruit is well balanced by a fresh and floral finish, creating a perfect balance.

Liguria

Lunae

What we are: a family, a history, a tradition
The winemaking tradition of this land has its roots in a thousand-year history, already in 177 BC. a Roman colony was founded at the mouth of the river Magra and called "Portus Lunae". Pliny the Elder, in his work "Naturalis Historia" wrote about the wine of this place: "Etruriae Luna palma habet..." (65 AD): "...of Etruria, the one from Luni has the palm tree...". This was the origin and inspiration for choosing our name, embodying all the principles that have guided and still guide the work in the vineyard and in the cellar. The Bosoni family has in fact always been linked to this territory. For four generations, for work and by vocation we have been doing three things: we cultivate the vineyard, we produce wine and we preserve the culture of our territory.
