Description

The Amalthea is a wine that comes from the vinification of 100% Trebbiano Ugni Blanc grapes that grow on soils of volcanic origin at about 200 meters above sea level. This product has a straw yellow color and, by swirling it in a glass, you can immediately notice a certain fatness, with frequent "arches" and slow descent "tears". It is a wine that has an interesting bouquet, with herbaceous and floral scents that also reappear during drinking. On the palate it is charismatic, woody and structured, with an acid vein that leaves the mouth clean ready to welcome another sip.

AT THE TABLE

The important alcohol content of 13.5% allows the Amalthea to accompany fish-based meals from A to Z, with a positive influence on the combination with grilled seafood. Its freshness also allows it to meet in a pleasant way some mixed vegetable soups and platters of medium-aged cheeses. An experiment we recommend is paired with a plate of bresaola and rocket with lemon drops and parmesan flakes.
