Description
Ômina Romana oil is produced exclusively from its own olive groves, carefully cultivated without chemical treatments. The olives are harvested by hand early at the beginning of veraison and are subsequently transformed - within eight hours - with cold pressing at a strictly controlled temperature. The cultivars that make up our oil are: Itrana, Leccino, Frantoio and Rosciola.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aspect: medium fluidity
Color: green, with yellow reflections.
Nose: green fruity on the nose with pleasant vegetal notes of artichoke, aromatic herbs and green tomato.
On the palate, the vintage has a bitter tone of medium intensity and is matched by a strong spiciness but softened by hints of fresh almond.
