Description

Chardonnay, Inzolia and Viognier, an intriguing blend of white grapes which, in combination, give life to a complex and enveloping expression that enhances an entirely Sicilian fruit, rich in aromas and hints. It is the aromatic varieties of Western Sicily that bring their fragrances, blending into a web of perfumes of captivating pleasure. The fresh fruit and balsamic hints of inzolia are completed with the memory of dried cricket flowers against the background of notes of jasmine, apricot, peach and honeysuckle brought by Viognier.

In the glass this blend surprises with its delicate sorbability and interesting minerality, a remarkable balance obtained upstream, conceived and desired right from the vineyard, through agronomic management attentive to the needs of each individual plant, to the ventilated exposure of the soft slopes of the Borgo Guarini estate, located in the heart of the Trapani countryside.

Firriato

A high-altitude vineyard immersed in full sun exposure. Such a unique mix of conditions makes Etna’s viticulture a natural laboratory dedicated to excellence. Covering a total of 84 hectares spread across the northern quadrant slopes of the volcano, with vineyards on wide terraces as well as on the sides of ancient lava flows, Firriato has developed a recovery and enhancement project unique throughout the Etna region.
