Description
Villa Dugo Friulano originates in Oslavia, on well-drained, clay-rich soils with abundant silica: a Friuli DOC wine with a pale straw-yellow color and greenish highlights. Its bouquet is floral, with notes of white-fleshed fruit and the characteristic bitter almond note that defines this Friulian grape variety. On the palate, it is balanced between freshness and smoothness, with remarkable persistence.
It pairs beautifully with stuffed calamari, fried sardines, and fish soup; it is also excellent with white meats and fresh cheeses. Serve chilled at 10–12°C.
