Description

A unique creation that captures the essence of the Aglianico grapes from the Taburno DOC area. With its aging in fine woods, it gives velvety sensations on the palate with notes of black cherry and vanilla in a warm and enveloping mix, offering an extraordinary tasting experience.

The processing methodology, together with the use of small quantities of fresh pomace in each distillation, allows the grappa to fully capture the distinctive aromas and flavors of the Aglianico grape from which it comes. This grappa is inimitable for the complexity of its bouquet and for its natural body softness, further enhanced by aging for at least 12 months in fine woods such as oak and cherry. The result is a grappa velvety on the palate, enriched by delicate hints of black cherry and vanilla, in a warm and enveloping mix.

It is recommended to serve it in grappa glasses, at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C. Before tasting it, it is advisable to let the grappa rest in the glass for a few minutes; this allows the aromas to develop fully and complete the olfactory and gustatory experience.

Pairing: Excellent to enjoy with dry pastries or as an ideal accompaniment for dessert at the end of a meal.

History of the Label: The epigraph of Vibio Adirano, a limestone dating back to the 1st century B.C.E., was discovered in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. This inscription in the Oscan-Samnite language was found in Pompeii, in the Samnite Palestra in the area of the Triangular Forum. This place was a meeting point of the Vereiia Pompeiana. The triad of gods venerated in the Samnite temples was composed of Herkle, Opalis and Victoria, and these names became the inspiration for our product, Grappa Victoria di Falanghina, which embodies the tradition and history of this ancient culture.

Campania

Nifo

Founded three generations ago, the Nifo Sarrapochiello winery is a reality rooted in the suggestive Campania region. Its headquarters are located in Ponte, an enchanting village in the heart of Sannio, already known in Roman times thanks to an imposing "pontem lapideum" that crossed the Via Latina, an important artery that connected Rome to Benevento. This ancient passage was fundamental for the Romans who, thanks to it, had access to very high quality wines and grapes.

Production of organic wines
Since 1998, Nifo Sarrapochiello has embraced the organic farming method, following the directives of the Bioagricert control body. The grapes, harvested with scrupulous care in manual harvesting, are transformed according to strict production standards that preserve the environment and the health of consumers. The result of this commitment is the creation of fragrant, intensely aromatic wines with great character.
