Description

The wine has an intense and deep ruby color derived from the Nero Buono grape, giving the nose an intense fragrance of ripe red fruit, cherry in alcohol, Mediterranean scrub, cocoa, cinchona and iron, all wrapped in balsamic notes. In the mouth, the wine is soft, with tannins present but almost imperceptible thanks to its maturity, balanced, elegant and pleasant, with an almost infinite persistence.

This wine pairs perfectly with pasta dishes seasoned with game ragù, grilled red meats, medium-aged cheeses and traditional Italian cuisine dishes such as bucatini all'amatriciana or coda alla vaccinara.

PASSION, TRADITION, AND INNOVATION TO BRING THE QUALITY AND CHARACTER OF A WINE INTO A GLASS

Philosophy

The goal shared by the wines of the Armando and Felice Mergè family is to improve product quality without ever compromising their typicality. Tradition, identity, and territory, as well as passion, commitment, and experience: these are the values shared by the company, which for three generations has continued to work with native grape varieties, making the most of the land’s potential to bring flavors into a bottle that are both a modern expression and a nearly century-old history of unique wine heritage.
The company’s philosophy is therefore the result of years of experience in viticulture and is based on the highly refined style of the wines, their typicality, respect for the territorial denominations, and control of the winemaking process, always aiming to respect and enhance the ampelographic richness of the territory.
